gCHRODEBy JJOOPEE, & CO., HALL OF COMMERCE, THE CHEAPEST AND BEST DRAPERY ESTABLISHMENT IN THE DISTRICT. nOHKODER HOOPER ANE CO. , |j respectfully beg to notify that on ( account of the liberality of the Govern- f raent in taking the duty off several f lines in the drapery business, they have { likewise reduced those lines at least j 17| per cent. ] We furthermore beg to state that j having already gained thereputation ( of being the cheapest and best house ( in the district for all kinds of \ general drapery, millinery and | clothing, we intend to keep up ' that reputation and sell every ar- \ licle in the trade at the lowest pos- ] sible prices, combined with quality . j and durability. Having enlarged mr premises to over double its former sue, and having stocked all the departments with every necessary articls and material, we are now in a position to lay befwe our customers a selection which is not equalled by any storekeeper within Wairarapa, and not surpassed by any house in Wellington. Our business being so well known through the district, we do not think it necessory to go to large expenses and quote a price list, as these expenses must necessarily be charged to the public by putting them on to lines not quoted, but simply state that we will undersell any price list that is got up in opposition to us. So far our regular selling ' prices are at least 10 per cent, less < than any price list yet published. Our reasons for being able to sell less thvn any house in the trade are: I 1. Nob ha\ ing a lot of heavy expenses to contend against, we can give customers the 3 benefit. 2, Not being tied to any merchant, we ate enabled to purchase our stock from the best v markets.
3, We sell cheap find for cash, thereby not making a lot of bail debts. 4. Only undertaking the branch of business which we thoroughly understand, _\vc can give it every attention aud only buying the best and most durablo class ot goods wo must give satisfnt.ion.
