SPREAD OF SMALL-POX. j FATAL RAILWAY ACCIDENT. DESTRUCTIVE FTRE AT NEWCASTLE. Bhisbank, Deo. 19. A trolly, on which two laborers were asleep, was run into by a train near Dalby, and both men were killed. Sydney, Deo. 19. Arrived, yesterday afternoon—Steamship Wakatipu, from Wellington. Arrived, this morning—Pacific Company's steamship City of New York, from San Frsnoisoo via Auckland. Two fresh cases of small-pox in Woolloomooloo have been reported to the Health Board.
A storm of unsual violence, accompanied by heavy rain with thunder and lightning, was experienced hore to-day. No damage, however, has been done to buildings in the city.
