Some few months ago the Eer Mr Dukes announced that before he left the district, he would, with the iielp of the congregation, make a strong effort to free the Chapel building from debt, and suggested a bazaar as a means to this very desirable end. The idea was taken up with considerable energy and jjpirit, and to-day the fruitß of the labofs of many kind helpers aro gathered together in the Town Hall, Maatertou,'ready for ppshsfiß by the general publio, On entering the hall one ie immediately transported into a fairy land; fancy articles, flowers, flags, tast'efelly. made children's garments,
