GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Thk ordinary meerin<; of the Greytown Borough Council was held Inst evening Present—Cr B\illie (in tho chair), Gallagher, Bright, Gray, Hnigh, Udy, and Wnkolin. Tho minutes of l.ho last ordinary meeting were read und confirmed, and correspondence, outwards read from the letter l)uok, Correspondence was received from the Cleric of the Wairnmpa West County re dog licenses, and from the Surveyor General respecting a map of the Borough. Eesolved—That tho Wairarapa West County Council be advised that this Council is of opinion that n uniform fee of 5s for tloifs coming under the definition of the first portion of Section 2 of the Act, 1881, and Is for all dogs coming under the deliiiion of the second part of the said section, should be fixed. Resolved that the Clerk write to the Assistant Surveyor-General for a sufficient map of the Borough, cost not to exceed from £ls to ,£2O, as explained in his letter of the 17th November. It was resolved that some repairs be douo to the Kuratawhiti Road. Cr Udy was asked to see to the former, and Cr Wakelin to the hitler. Cr Wakelin was asked to peg off the seven chains of thereabouts on Kerapton Line, and prepare specifications and invite tenders. It was resolved that fresh tenders be invited for filling in at the back of Mr Wyett's premises. The meeting then aJjourncd.
