We have made by which we shall for the future be able to supply our readers willi tho ykry latest telegraphic news from (ill parts of the colony, through the medium of the united press association, The cost involved in obtaining press messages from this source is a heavy one, but we have not hesitated to incur it as ourconnection with this association will not only raise the Wairarai'a Daii,y to a higher position among the journals of the colony, and be. a practical evidence of the progress and advancement of this district, but it will nlso give our readers, whose number increases daily in ail parts of the AVairarapa, facilities for obtaining later items of intelligence from each Provincial centre in the colony than they have hitherto enjoyed.
