IMH.-irfriiMtJ JJOOPEE, . & CO.-, HALL OF COMMERCE. THE CHEAPEST AND BEST DRAPERY ESTABLISHMENT IN THE DISTRICT., nCHRODER HOOPER ANP 00. D respectfully beg to notify that on account of the liberality of the Government in taking tho duty off several lines in the drapery business, they have likewise reduced those lines at least Yi\ per cent, Wefurthrmore beg to state that having already gained thereputation of being the cheapest and best house in the district for all kinds of general drapery, millinery and clothing, we intend to keep up that reputation and sell every article in the trade at the lowest possible prices, combined with quality and durability. Having enlarged our premises to over double its for-' mer size, and having stocked all the departments with, every necessary artick and material, toe are now in a position to lay before our customers a selection which is not equalled by any storekeeper within any house m Wellington. Our busiaass being so well known through the district, we do not think it necessory io go to large expenses and quote a price list, as these expenses must necessarily be charged to the public by putting them on to lines not quoted, but simply state that we will undersell any price list that is got up in opposition to us, So far our regular selling prices are at least 10 per cent, less Our reasons for being able to sell less thvn any house in the trade are: 1. Not bung a lot of heavy expenses to contend against, we can give customers the benefit. 2, Not bcii>£ tied to any merchant, weave enabled to liuvcluse our stock from the best markets. !1. We sell cheap and for cash, thereby not making a lot of bad debts. 4. Only undertaking the branch of business which we thoroughly understand, we can give it every attention and only buying tbe best and mo*t dur ble class of goods we must give satisfa ft REMEMBER THE ADDEEBS IS SCHRODER, HOOPER 4 CO., Wholesale and Retail Drapers and Clothiers Hall of Commerce, MASTERTON, ON and after Monday, the 38th instant, 4he WAIRAIIAPA DAILY will be published at S'3o p.m. Its Proprietors have, after due consideration, decided to postpone the publication of the paper to this hour—lst, In order to give their readers fuller reports of Public Meetings and later Telegraphic News ; and 2nd, To suit tho changes which have recently been made in the Railway Time Table and Postal Xvrang-e----ments.
