Rules aud Regulations. To bo run under the Masterton-Opaki Jookey Club Rules. The Saddling 801 l will ring at 11,30 each day, and the first race start at 12 o'clock. The time for starting each event will be duly posted on the course after each preceding race. ; Tho winner of the Maiden Plate to cany 51bs extra in the Produce Race, The District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months provious to this race meeting. The Produco Raeo is for all horses bred and trained in the district and that have never started for an advertised raoe, In case of a protest, tho same must be lodged with the becretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run, with a deposit of £2, auch deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. Tho winners ef the first day's Hack Races will not be allowed to run for those on the second day; nor will the winnei of the £lO Hack Race either day bo allowed to run for the catch weight Hack Races. No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race (hack races excepted) unlcsa he be a subscriber of at least £1 to the race fund. No scratching of horses allowod, unless throuek the Secretary and fifteen minutes NOMINATIONS AND GENERAL ENTRIES to be made to the Secretary at tho Club Hotel. Entries to be accompanied by the required amounts, also names and ages of horseß aud colors of riders, No entries will be received after that night, either by letter or telegram, Weights for the Opaki Stakeß and tho Handicap Hurdles to be declared at the Club Hotel on THURSDAY evening, Decernber Ist, at 8 o'clock, Acceptances for same to be declared on MONDAY evening, December 5, at 9 o'clock, Weights for the District Handicap to h°. declared at the Club Hotel at 8 o'clock on the evening of the first day's races. Acceptances for same will close same evening, Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the Secretary fifteen minuies after the District Handicap is run. Weights to be declared fifteen minutes after the nominations have closed; and acceptances will olose 15 minutes after tho weights have been declared. Handicap, and Flying Stakes Handicap olose on Thursday, Ist December, at9o'olook, at Waihenga Hotel, weights to bo declared on Tuesday, 13th Dec., at 8 p,m, General entries aud acceptances close on Tuesday, 20th December, at 9 p.m., at WaiRules and Regulations, Saddling bell to ring at 11,30; first race to start at 12 o'clock sharp. No entry will be received except upon this condition—That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing Bhall be decided by a majority of the Stewards present or thoso whom they may appoint. Their decision upon all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall he final. All entries to bo sealed and addressen to the Hon Secretary Waihenga, with the name, age at time of entry, pedigree, and in case of handicaps, performance of the horse, name of owner, and colors of the rider.
