WAKGANUI COLLEGIATE SCHOOL THE Trustees of the above School are about to erect a spacious house for the accommodation of Boarders, which ig expected to be ready for occupation at the beginning of the New Year. The Classrooms, built about three years ago, are largo and lofty. The situation of the School is very good. It stands in a reserve of about si)' acres, forming an excellent cricket field and play-ground, The Jicv B, W. Harvey, M.A., Incumbent of St Paul's, Wellington, has been appointed to the office of Head Waster, and will enter on his duties in January next. Mr Harvey was a Scholar of St John's College, Camonce as a teacher. The comae of instruction will embrace Eg. ligious Knowledge, the English, French, German, Latin, and Greek languages, History, Geography, unit Mathematics, with special preparation, If desired, for the Civil Service avid other examinations. Facilities will also bo given for the study of Natural Science. The School Year will be divided into Three Terms of IS weeks each. Tuition Feeß, for pupils under 12 years of age, 3 guineas and for pupils over 12 years, i guineas; term. Board, including washing. £M a term. SCHOLARSHIPS. The Trustees propose to elect six scholars, who will receive free tuition, two of whom, if resident at a distune, the Head Master will be prepared to receive as boarders at the rale of £7 a term. The first election will takii place in December next, Examination will be held, if necessaiy. in Wellington, Ureytown, and Patea, as well as Wanganui.
