At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of November, 1881, Present ; His Excbuency the Governor in Council, TN excercise of the powers vested in me 1 by "The Rabbit-Nuisance Act, 1881," I, Arthur Hamilton Gordon, the Governor of the Culoiiy df New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, do abolish the ' Castlepoint, the Hainuioru, the Awhea, the Masterton, the Carterton, the Featherston, and the Olaraia Rabbit Districts, and do hereby constitute and declare the 'part of the colony comprised within the Counties of Wairarapa East and Wrtirarapa'Weat, as defined by " The Counties Act, 1876," a labbit district under the said " Babbit Nuisance Act, 1881," by the name of the Wairarapa Rabbit District.
