WANGANUI COLLEGIATE SCHOOL THE Trustees of the above- School are about to erect a spacious house lor the accommodation of Boarders, which is expected to bo ready for occupation at the beginning of the New Year, The Classrooms, built about three years ago, are l'irge and lofty. The situation of the School is very good, It stands in a reserve of about si)' acres, forming an excellent cricket field and play-ground. The Rot IS. W. Harvey, M.A., Incumbent of St Paul's, Wellington, has been appointed to the office of Head Master, and will enter on his duties in January next. Mr Harvey was a Scholar of St John's College, Cambridge, and has had large aud'varied experience as a teacher. The couise of instruction will embrace Religious Knowledge, the English, torch, Gorman, Latin, aud Greek languages, History, Geography, and Mathematics, with special preparation, If desired, for the Civil Scrvico awl other examinations. Facilities will also lie given for the study of Natural Science. The School Year will be divided into Three Terms of IS weeks each. Tuition Fees, for pupils under 12 years of age, 3 guineas and for pupils over 12 years, 4 guineas; torm. Board, including washing, £U a, term, SCHOLARSHIPS. The Trustees propose to elect six scholars, who will receive free tuition, two of whom, if resident at a distanc, the Head Master will be prepared to receive as boarders at tiic rate of £7 a term.
