gOHRODEB, JJOOPEB, &CO., HALL OF COMMERCE, THE CHEAPEST AND BEST DRAPERY ESTABLISHMENT IN THE DISTRICT, QOHSODER HOOPER AND CO. jj respectfully beg to notify that on account of the liberality of the Government in taking the duty off several lines in the drapery business, they have likewise reduced those lines at least per cent, We furthermore beg to state thai having already gained thereputation of being the cheapest and best home i» the district for all kinds of general drapery, millinery and clothing, we intend to keep up that reputation and sell every article in the trade at the lowest possible prices, combined with quality and durability. Having enhrgel our premises to over double its former size, and having stocked all the departments with every necessary artick and material, we are now in a position to lay before our customers a selection which is not equalled by any storekeeper within Wairarapa, and not surpassed by any house in Wellington, Our busiaass being so well known through the district, we do not think it necessary to go to large expenses and quote a price list, as these expenses must necessarily be charged to the public by putting them on to lines not, quoted, but simply state that we will undersell any price list that is got up in opposition to us. So far our regular selling prices are at least 10 per cent, less lhan any price list yet published. Our reasons for being able to sell less thvn any house in the trade are: 1. Not ha\ ing a lot of heavy expenses to contend against, wo can give customers the benefit. 2, Not being tied to any merobant, we are enabled to purchaso our stock from tho best markets. 3, Wo sell cheap and for cash, thereby not making & lot of bad debts. 4. Only undertaking the br.iuch of bu . ness which we thoroughly understand, R J' can give it every attention and only buy. W(! tho best and mwt durable class of go m , g we must give satisfaction, BEMEMBERJ THE ADDRESS IS SCHRODER, HOOPER &CO., Wholesale and Retail Drapers and Clethiers Hall of Commerce* MASTBBTON, THE MASTEREON RIFLE VOLUNTEERS will parade for divine fenice on SUNDAY NEXT, at 10.30 a,ra. at RemiN's Bridge.
