MEMBER OF TEE ASSEMBLY EXPELLED. AUSTRALIAN OPINION OF N.Z. NATIVE POLICY. Svdney, Nov. 7. Baker, late Minister of Mines, has been expelled from the Assembly by 72 to 2 voles for various practices connected with tho voto to the Mijburn copper Company. The decision as to Garrett, member for Cambden, similarly implicated, has not yet been arrived at. The Melbourne Age warmly concurs in the native policy of .the New Zealand' Government.
