It stands in a reserve of about sir acres, forming an excellent cricket field and play-ground. The Rev B W. Harvey, M. A., Incumbent of St Paul's, IVeflington, has been appointed to tho office of Head Master, and will enter on his duties in January next. Mr Haryey was a Scholar of St John's College, Cambridge, and has had large and varied experience as a teacher.

The comse of instruction will embrace lieliginus Knowledge, the English, French, German, Latin, and Greek languages, Hig. Tory, Geography, aitf Mathematics, with speed preparation, If desired, for the Civil Service and other examinations. Facilities will a|so be given for the study of Natural Science. The School Year will he divided into Three Terras of 13 weeks each. Tuition Fees for pupils under 12 years of age, 3 guineas and for pupils over 12 years, 4 guineas ; term. Board, including washing. £l4 a term. SCHOLARSHIPS. The Trustees propose to elect six scholars, who will receive free tuition, two of whom, if_ resident at a distanaytho Head Master will be prepared to receive as boarders at the rate of £7 a term. The first election will take place in December next. Examination will be held, if necessary, in Wellington, Greytown, and Patea. as well aa Wanganni.
