TO STAND This Season at Walter M orison's Btud stable, Manaia, the celebrated thoroughbred horse KINGFISHER. Kwmibher, bred by J. Gilbert, Pusey Yale, Sown Australia, is a dark-brown horse, standing 16 hands high, and is admitted to be one of the most powerful thi roughbred horses in the Australasian 'Colonies. From his fine conformation, great substance, trength, ami quality, he is admirably adapted o get carriage horses, hunters, and hacks, d well as racehorse?. He was got by Sky craper, out of Remnant, by the far-famed Fisherman, granddam Henrietta 'imported), rat of Remnant, by the famous Harkaway. Skyscraper, by Moonralter, out of I ady Godiva, by Hercules, Hercules by Whisker (imported), sire of the renowned Jorrock's, whose fame is imperishable; Kingfisher himself, like his close relatives -Hi hmond, TheDiyer, Hamlet, Horatio, Kose d'Amour, Goldsbrough, P"bin Hood, and others-was a great performer on the South Australian, Victorian, New South Wales, and Tasmankn Turf, having won at all distances, and under heavy weights, beating tie best horses of the day, and not under the most favorable cir-cumstances-FMe Turf Register, and Vol. V. He also won the Champion Prize for the best thoroughbred horse of any age in the yard. In 1875 ho took tho same prizes, beating Papapa and others. In 1876 he was justly awarded the prize for. the horse best adapted to improve tho breed of saddle horses. Also first prize at the Mnsterton show, in 1877, Kinofisheb will leave Manaia every Mon day, calling at Bay's Tantahi Hotel, and on Tuesdays at Jones' Foresters' Arms Hotel, Greytown, Manaia on Wednesday, Thunday, and Friday, and at Club Hotel Stables, Mastertoa on Saturday.
