QUERY.

[To the Editor of the Daily.] Sir, —Will you allow me to ask Mr Eenall through the 'medium of'your valuable paper if he will do the working men of Masterton a favour by calling a public meeting subject to the following instructions : 1. That he will exert all his power to keep order and silence so that everybody can hear what is said.

2. If he had not got sufficient influencn over his own gods to keep them quiet, he shall use all the means he can command as Mayor with constables or otherwise.

3. That Mr Penall shall not speak for longer than half an hour, 4, No other speaker shall speak for more than ten minutes.

5. Any person shall be allowed to ask Mr Eenall a fair question.

6. Mr fienall's answer shall be direct and to the point, and not last more than one minute.

. 7. There shall be no evading questions by sarcastic or personal rubs, If Mr JRenall accedes to the above, I believe every political working man in Masterton will be extremely thankful. The usual political meetings in Masterton are a disgrace to any civilised town, The honest working man does not care to ask a question, as usually his answer comes from the larrikins and ignoramuses in the shape of a deluge of vulgar slang, Yours, (fee,, A Working Man.
