GREYTOWN TOWN LANDS TRUST.
The quarterly meeting of the Trustees of t-lie Greytown Trust Lands was held in the Town Hall Greytown yesterday afternoon,
Presents-Messrs Baillie (Chairman), Kempton, Cuff, Wood, and Wyett,
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Treasurer | reported the amount to credit at £65 8a ■ Bd. 1
Accounts amounting to £39 9s 9d wen passed for payment. Correspondence outwards was read! To Messrs Fabian Bros respecting re- 1 , erection of buildings; to several tenants' re repairs to fences Ac. Inwards—From 1 the Chairman of the Greytown School Committee asking for a grant of MO to supplement teachers salaries; from the Secretary of the Masterton Trustees, explaining, why the salary of an assistant master was augmented by the Masterton Trustees.
A copy of resolutions passed at last meeting of the Masterton Trustees in respects of leases 4c, was also fcad.<.
It was resolved that Ibis Trust is not in a position to comply with the requests of the Greytown School Committee. It was also resolved to refer tho Master* ton Trustees to section 3 1871 and No 3 of the Act leflHHHj It was resolved that the ' instructed to take necessary proceedings against Messrs Fabian Bros for tho conditions of leases to be carried out, \
The report respecting conditions of sale of leases was read and adapted Resolved thrt the sections be let by auction,
Messrs Baillie, Cuff, and Wyett, were appointed a sub-committee to fix reserves.
Resolved that the Solicitor he instructed to draft a lease at as early a date as possible. Resolved that the sale of leases he held within three weeks, date to be fixed by the auctioneers Messrs F. H. Wood & Co, The meeting then adjourned,
