Ermer.—Abusive language, Fined 5s and costs, Paulina Ermer for assault on Matilda Holt was ordered to find a £)0 surety to keep the peace for three months. It is to be hoped that as these cases all arose through the defendants permitting their cows to wander upon lands not their own, and as their carelessness costs them a considerable amount of money, this will be a warning to them look after their cows little more in foture.
