'Hie poles will have to be- delivered at points about four (-1) chains apart along the above ndieated route. THE Postmaster-General and Commissioner of Telegraphs is prepared to receive Tenders for the Supply and Delivery of Two Hundred and Fifty Telcgiaph Poles, mu-e or lets, at the raihvayst.ition, Featherston. The polos aro to bo sawn from the heart of totara, to he free from knots, shakes, sap, or other blemishes, to be twenty feet long, eight inches square at the butt, and six inches square at ihu top. The poles will be inspired and passed at the Featherston Railway Station. 'Jhe whole of the poles must be delivered within one month from d ito of acceptance of tender.
