A? the riquisition represents so very large and influential a section of the Burgesses of Masterton I liave much pleasure in acceding to it, and if elected I promise to do my duty to the best of my ability without fear o' 1 favor, and to work in unison with the Councillors for the good of the whole borough and to conduct (he deliberations of the Council with propriety.
