-4 State dinner in honor of the Duke of Edinburgh wa-s given at Gronstadt on July 4th- Amongst flip guests invjted were the commanders of tbe British vessels, s'ome'oi the Duke's staff, and several Ministers and other dignitaries. The Empress who was (ireseed in black, sat between the Emporer and. the Duke of Edinhnrg, Their Majesties, retired a,t about nine o'olock when the British officers returned to the. squadron, the Duke of Edinbuug passing the night at Potsrhof.
