The following correspondence was then read;— From Public Works Office, re taking land for roads; from Burnett and. Yule, re timber ordered; from F. Taylor, with account for repairing roads; from T. H; Dillon, re Whareama river fords; from MrslStelin, re removing a few loadjof metal; from F. A. Sheath, re repairs to Mataikuna-Oastlepoim road; from George Harding, re Tollen's contract, Akitio; •from R, Wilsone, re Council meeting and Whareama Ferry. RESOLVED. That two members attend the next meeting of the Wnirarapa East County Council, on the 18th September, for the purpose of adjusting the new" boundary line between this and the Masterton dis< trict.
