On the motion of Mr Pardon, Messrs A, Anderson, J. G. Cox, Cundy, Pardon, Shaw, W. 0. Williams, M. Jackson, H. Jackson, Oobhum, and Donald were appointed as the canvassing committee. After a vote of thanks to Mr Pharazyn and .the Chairman, the meeting adjourned. ~ The committee then met, and appointed Mr J. G„ Cox its chairman. It was 'arranged that Mr.Cundy should canvass Kaiwaiwai, Mr Pardon—Featherston, Mr Sliaw—Tauherenikau, Mr M. JacksonWestern Lake, and Mr H. JacksonSouth Featherston. • ' ' :
