FREIGHT.
[To the Editor of the Waikabapa Daily] ' Soli,—l am plowed to see the Masterton people going in for a reduction of freight .from Wellington, what they should have (Jone long ago. The Masterton iarpiera might as tyell bo on the Waimate plains for all the bpsinesg we can do pith them, on account of the high rate of carrjagp by rail. I paid 5o Gd for the carriage of a pork pig from Masterton the other day, as for chaff and oats you are quite shut out from tho Wellington market. ' . The best plan is to appoint a deputation of Wairarapa people, and Wellington business n;en to wait on the Governpientjiand demand justice at once; then Mastorton will go ahead, you will havo so many farmers coming to the station .with all kinds of produce that a great improvement would be noticeable, Yours &c., W. McKeever, Wellington.'
