RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

An accident occurred 1 on.theJino yesterday, between'Kaitoke: and/the Upper Hutt, the passengers in the down train meeting with a most providental escape from death and injury. Greater care should be exercised in packing timber for carriage by rail,... We have seen on nipr.e th'ttii one occasion loose timber hanging over the trucks and striking the ground when tho train was in motion.
