We published yesterday the words in which Mr Bunny, M.H.K., declared his loyalty to the Hall Ministry at the present crisis. It gives us great pleasure to acknowledge the straightforward conduct 4 our senior member on this occasion. His single yote was considered last week sufficient to turn ;li,e .scale in favor of the Opposition, and great pressure was brought to bear upon him to crojic over the House. He might, indeed, have made terms with the Opposition extremely favorable to his own personal interests, but he resisted the tempter, and rap straight, The Hall Ministry owe a debt of gratjtude to Mr Bunny, as it is understood in political circles that thouqh the Opposition were prepared to promise great things to Mr Bunny if jhe s,ec.eded, the Government did not attempt'in any jvay to influence his .vote by any pro.mise big or little.
