CARTERTON FIRE BRIGADE.

[To the Editor, of "the Wairabapa Daily,] j Sir,—ln conjunction with many of the residents of Carterton, I declined to aid in promoting the Carterton Volunteer Fire Brigade -.when it was first started, some 12 months ago, .1 thought it merely; one of the 1 flashes in ! the pan we have often had brought -before- us, and that the movement would evaporate, almost as soon as it originated. Well, sir, I can acknowledge myself in error when I find my views'"are incorrect. I Have watched the Brigade, and i now think they are deserving of support.
