THE LATE RABBIT MEETING.
[To the Editor of the Wairarapa Daily.] Sir—Re rabbit pest, may I suggest that Mr Buchanan take a leaf from Mr Boys' book by substituting Mongols for weasels. Able men have expressed their fears that at no distant date the AngloSaxon race might suffer extinction at the hands of the former, but Mr Boys goes further, and hints the possible destruction of even the rabbits. Welly good I lam,&c, Onlooker. ["Mongols" was a typographical error, for which Mr Boys is not responsible. -E». W.D.]
