REPLY TO THE ROAD OVERSEER.
(To the Editor of the Daiiv.) Sir,—l most emphatically deny the statement reported to have been made by the borough road overseer at the last meeting of the Council, the report of •which appeared in your yesterday's issue, viz., that the state of the road at the creek near to Mr D. Donald's gate was no worse now than it has been for years past.' I am, &c. Reason.
