ROAD MAINTENANCE.
(To the Editor .Wairarapa Daily.) ■ .- . Masterton, June 14.
Sir;—l have read and taken notice of many of the reports to the Masterton Borough' Council by the Road Overseer, but I have never seen any reference made by him as to the state of the road .(which is very dangerous) at the bridge near the gate leading to MrD. Donald's residence, 'i'ho road, by the action of the has recently become very narrow. The water-orsss and flax block up the creek, the result being the destruction of the road. This needs immediate attention, and should have been attended to long since, It would be better to repair tho placo at once than pay hoavy damages should an accident ocour through longer neglect. lain, iftc, R',ASON.
