News has been received that Arabs in Algeria have massacred tweuty-six engineers and workmen who were constructing a telegraph line. ■ The murderers feO upon them suddenly and'cut them to pieces. Miss Parnell, at a meeting of the Ladies' League at Tulla, counselled the people to adopt measures to completely ostracise thp poljce in Ireland.
