Campbell, £5 per chain, accepted. ; The clerk was directed to acknowledge receipt of Mr Wilsone's letter, and request that any subsidy due from the Council to this Board be paid over forthwith, in order to pay ferrymen's salaries due on the Ist 'of January last. And that the ferrymen be informed that their salaries will be paid as soon as the subsidies are received from the Council.
