KURIPUNI RAILWAY ROAD.

[To the Edinr of tlio Waiuarava Daily,] Kuripuui, March 5,1881. Sir,—His Worship tlio Mayor, dunn<* the last meeting of the Borough Council, is reported to hare remarked—referring to proposed construction of road to Kuripuui railway station—that the Victoriastreet residents had contributed two-fifths towards the cost of construction of that street.

Now, Sir, may I, through your columns , ask His Worship to. consider that of the whole traffic in Victoria-street, that connected with its residents will doubtless be more than four-fifths, whilst of the future traffic,- of the Kuripuni station road certainly not one-fifth-say, one-twentieth—-will be in connection with its residents. .
