Sik,—A workman of our 3, named Charles Watson, had .the misfortune, a few days ago, to meet with an accident by which he lost his left arm-tho doctors having decided that the limb must bo removed to save his life. He is a sobjjr and deserving man, and has a wife and seven children depending upon him, If you would kindly acknowledge in your, columns any subscriptions his friends or any charitably disposed persons may be willing to give to assist him ahd his family you would oblige us and render an important service to a man overtaken by a. serious calamity.
