All entries to be made subject to tho condition thit all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall bo decided by a majority of the Stewards present, or whom they may appoint, and ihat sm-h decision shall be final and binding in all cases, and all law proceedings absolutely barred. Maide.i Plate, Taratahi-Carterton Handicap, and Sapling Stakes to be made in writing, stating name, pedigree, description, and age of horso, and colors of rider, and to ba B*nt in, accompanied by tho nomination foe, to the office of the hon secretary, Mr H, H. Wolters, Carterton, on or before TUESDAY, 4th JANUARY, ISSI, at 4 p.m. The weights will be declared on Bth Jan., 1881, and published in the local newspapers. Acceptances to be made on or before SATUR DAY, loth January, 1881. at 4 p.m. . ! Three entries or tho puhlio money will be withheld. No protest will be considered unless loaged within 15 minutes after the race, and accompanied by a deposit of £2, which shall ba forfeited if the Stewards-are of opinion that the protest is frivolous or vexatious._ All jockeys to ride in tho colors nominated, or a fine of 1 sov. will be enforced. No entry will be admitted-hack and hack hurdle races excepted-unless the poison entering be a subscriber of one guinea or more to the Kace Fund.
