Dubing. the past year sundry improve-' monts in planting and in the formation of walks have taken place, • ' The Trustees regret to report that some' damage has been done to the trees, fences, and graves by evil-disposed persons, soas to warrant them in offering a reward for the appreheusion and conviction.of the otiendera.
The question of the erection of a mortuary chapel has been brought recently before the Trustees, but the present state of the funds of the Trust is not sufficient to enable them to meet the eutire cost of the erection of the building, . There is no 'doubt entertained on the part of the '.Trustees and the publio-'-'that" such a chapel in very necessary during jlje very hot and wet seasons of the year/ while reading the burial services over the , dead, as well as other valid reasons, and the Trustees have expressed their willing-" ness to co-operate with the public to the extent of one half the cost of the buildind, '•■ Thirty-eight interments have taken place during the past year. . ._ ; • ' .E, Hare,...
