THE Wairarapa East County Council proposes leasing to Emma Greathead of the Hurnnuiorangi Hotel, the Hurunniorangi ferryreserve, containing 40 acres or thereabouts, for a.term of ten years from the Ist day of May, 1880, at the rent of £2O per annum, payable quarterly. Mrs Greatliead to insure and repair, buildings, also to remove timber accumulating against bridge and provide ferry-boat at current rates, in case of bridge being impassable, and not to sub-let without Council's consent-usuai power of entry on default for thirty days.
