The Baddling-bell will ring at 10,30 a.m. sharp; first race to start at 11 a.m. ' ' Tho District Race is open to all horses owned in the district at least six months previous to the meoting. The Produce Race is open to all horses bred and trained in the dittrict, aud have never started for an advertised race. In case of a protest, tho same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen miniitos after the race is run, witha deposit of £2, such deposit to be forfeited if 'tho protest'bo considered trivial or vexatious. No person will be allowed to enter ahorse unless ho bo a subscriber of at least £1 to the Race Fund, No scratching of horses to be dono unl through the Secretary, The races will bo run strictly under the Masterton-Opaki Jockey Club Rules. General ootrios to be made to the Secretary, at the Club Hotel, between the hours of 7 and 8 p.m. on thenight of THURSDAY, ?sth November, previous to the meeting, and accompanied with the required amounts, s of horses, ages, and also riders' cold nor will anj entries be received after ti. n—either by letter or telegram.
