The Annual Show. UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE WAIRARAPA AND EAST COAST PASTOBAL AND AGRICULTUKAL SOCIETY, Will be held on THE SHOW GROUNDS, CARTERTON, ON EKDDAY, 6th NOVEMBER, 1880. THE SOCIETY offers a number of SILVER MEDALS as First Prizes, and a GOLD MEDAL as a Champion Prize for the largest number of points gained by any one exhibitor. Also 26 Private Prizes, consisting Of SILYER OUFS, PIECES i PLATE, &c.,kc, amounting in the aggregate to a value of over 175 guineas. EXHIBITORS are reminded that Entries for the Show close at tho offices of Messrs F. H, Wood & Co,, at Greytown, R. & J, Brown, at Masterton, and H. H, Wolters, at Carterton, on MONDAY, 25th October, inst,, and that in no case will any entry be roceived after that date. Printed forms of entry, and all necessary information maybe also obtained from them. Full particulars as to prizes, classification of exhibits, and conditions of competition have been published by means of sheet programmes which have been distributed, and may bo seen at all tho principal hotols and business places in Wellington and the Wairarapa. THE SHEARING MATCH, for which entries close on 25th October, will take place at 2 p.m.—First Prize, £ 3; second prize £2; entrance 2/6.
