RETRENCHMENT.
To the Editor of the Wairahapa Daily. Sir,—How is it in these times of economy the Education Board-has not yet been a little clipped 1 is a question often asked. Our late Governor pointed out pretty clearly that the system (though a good one) was far too expensive for so young a colony. . Surely there is room for retrenchment here,, other than theBoard advising School Committees that they must not apply to them for*repairs, A Parent.
