We have been requested to correct an error in our issue of Saturday, re the meeting of tho committee of the Greytown Horticultural Society. It should read, " next Saturday, 2nd October, at 2 p.m. Some lime since a concert on behalf of the Wairarapa Hospital was spoken of, and, we understand, practice was gone into; but we hear nothing of a timo fixed, It is weeks since a good local concert has been given in Greytown, and if arranged to be held in a short time it should be well patronised, particularly if on behalf of the Hospital. Our attention has been called to the faot that Mr Hercock in his letter to tho Minuter of Public Works, published in the Post of Saturday last, and offering to carry goods &c. from Woodside to Greytown at £l6 per week, has not said how he would propose to deliver goodß from Greytown to Woodside. Perhaps, (writes a Greytown correspondent), Mr Hercock will explain, for the information nf our Greytown readers.
