This Company has been formed for working a yaluab'e Quartz-reef at Wairarapa, in the Wellington Proviuce. The reef has been specially reported on by order of the Minister of Mines; has an area of twenty acres; tvelve mouths have been occupied in partly opening out and thoroughly testing the mine; various assays have given 12dwt to loz lldwt llgrs gold per ton respectively ; a trial crushing of a ton taken from the lower level of the workings is certified at 23dwt gold: the lode is 14ft wide, with 700 ft of bacta; and the present proprietors will only accept shares with liability for calls, in common with investors, in payment of their interest, thus evidencing their confidence in the future of thb mine.
