A BALL OF FIRE.
(Mavcollus—Mich.—News. One of the most remarkable occurrences ever recorded in the State took place in the Flafcbush,St. Joseph County Church, one night last week. The preacher, who was exhorting, was suddenly enveloped in a ball of fire, which descended from the ceiling. He fell forward on his face.Snine twenty members felt the power, and the excitement was intense. Subsequently the preacher \m raised from the floor and carried about the room through some invisible agency, his body beinc.at an of about 45 degrees, and in an insensible condition. For half an hour this whs enacted, and then he was genily laid down, and he came out of his trance. The members'of the church consider thii a token of the divinity of their preacher, who is described as a young mar. of great piety and' earnestness. The story has an air »f mystery about .it, but we havo it from an eye:witnesss, and we do not doubt its authenticity.
