0 May 27,1880. SiEj-An error has crept into the Fire Brigade Oommittee'sreportto:theßorough. Council whioh I should like to correct. It ■ ia in reference to the engine repairs. The report reads as though the buui of £2O, expended by the Brigade here for repairs, had been spent in Wellington and oharged to the Brigade by the Insurance' Companies. _ A sum has been charged by the Companies for repairs, but not this particular £2O, which was spent by the Brigade out of funds collooted in Masterton, lam, etc ..-,., ,\ W.'M.BisiHOPB,' : ' "' 'Hon; Sec.
