THE VOLUNTEERS.
[To the Editor Wairarapa Daily.] Sir,—As the matter contained in your Wellington telegrams of yesterday, may mislead some of your readers as to the treatment received by the Wellington Volunteers at the Ohristchui'ch encampment, I beg to state that the members of Greytown and Carterton Corps who attended the same consider that the treat-, ment we received with regard to provisions, etc,, was all that could be desired, and we all returned satisfied with our treatment in every way. I should not have written this, but that the words contained in your issue referred to might deter other members from joining in the next encampment, when I hope instead of the Wairarapa being represented by 25 men, that we shall be able to. muster a good eomprmy, sufficient',in number to do credit to the district.
