•The Inspector of Nuisanoes submitted his report :-He had given notice to W. J. Salmon re the urinal on'his premises' and Mr Salmon positively refused to shift it Had given Mr Polling notice to cleanse two drains on his premises about which complaint had been made; also notice to Mr Roydhouse to raise his chimneys, m accordance with the resolution of the Council. The Poundkeeper's report was read. . Councillor Kempton reported that he had measured the road near his place wlnct requires metalling, and that it could be done for about £1 per chain. Councillor Barnard gave notice that he would move at next meeting-That a surveyor be engaged to lay off footpath to the railway station.. Councillor Wakelin moved, seconded by Councillor Kempton-That the Inspector take proceedings at. once. against W J Salmon, and that Mr W. G. Beard' be engaged to conduct the case. The clerk reported that he had made a rough estimate of the probable income and expenditure for the ensuing year, and that a rate of la would give £SOO available for road work. This amount ■ includes Government subsidy.
