Minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence ■ Outwards—
To Chairman West County Council re charitable aid. _ To Colonial Secretary re sections adjoining the Borough, Inwards— From A, W, Renall re horse sold in pound. The Overseer's report was read, shewing the amount of work oxecuted by him from December 1 to January 26 Cr BaiJiie moved, Cr Baillie'seconded -mat the matter referred to by Mr Renall be left in the hands of the Town Uerk, Carried.
Accounts from Cole, wages to date, and H. Morris, cartage to date, were passed for payment, Resolved, on the motion of CrHammerich, seconded ,by Cr Barnard-That notice be given that applications for licenses to ply for hire must be made not later than Monday next,.between the mi? O' i ® a.m. and 2and 4p.mii lhere. being no other business the meeting terminated. "
