RULES. The saddling bell will ring at 11,30 each day; first race to start at 12 o'clock sharp. The winner of the Maiden to carry Clbs extra in the Produce Luce, The District Race is ( pen to all horses owned in the district at least six month previous to this Race eting. The Produce Bace is for all horses bred and trained in the district and that have never started for an advertised race. Iu case of a protest, the same must be lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes after the race is run. with a deposit of £2; such deposit to be forfeited if the protest be found trivial or vexatious. The winners of first day's hack races will not be allowed to run for those on the second day nor will the winner of the £lO hack Oil either day be allowed to run for the smaller catch weight hack race, No person will be allowed to enter a horse unless he ba a subscriber of at least £1 to thr Jockey Club fund, No scratching of horses to be done except it be through the Secretary. General entries to be made to the Secietary at tlie Club Hotel, Masterton, between tho hours of 7 and 9 o'clock on tho evening of Thursday, November 27th, previous to the race meeting, Entries to be acco jpanied by the required amounts, also names and ages d horses and colors of riders, and no entries will be received after that night cither by letter or telegram, Weights for Upaki Stakes Handicap to bo declared at the Club Hotel on the Monday evening previous to the meeting. Acceptances for Opaki Stakes Handicap close at 15 minutes' after the Ladies' Purse is run. Weighth for the Hurdle Race to be declared same night as the Opaki Stakes Handicap. Acceptances for Hurdles to close on Tuesday evening, not later than 8 o'clock, Acceptances for District Handicap'will close 15 minutes after the weights are declared on the second day after the Produce Race is run. Nominations for Consolation Handicap to be made to the Secretary 15 minutes after the District Handicap is run.
