Stud Book. ■THE PREMIER will be at the Bervice of breeders for this Mb last season in the Wairarapa, and his owner relies on his breeding, performances,'and quality, seldom equalled, to; secuie for this sire some of the choicest mares in the Valley. Far more to the purpose than anything else that can he said is The Premier's undeniable stoutness, which he inherits from both sides of his family, being a direct descendant of the great Touchstone-Sir Hercules combination. His dam, Eevoke, is also Tromp Card's dam; whilst such performers as Majenta, Titania, Elfin King, Malabar, Eonald, Sir Tatton, The Admiral, and Belle of the Isle (Templeton's dam) olaim Malton as their sire. Such an array of Bpeedy and stout racehorses is all convincing when it is sought to procure useful animals, whether for the turf or general purposes.
