CRICKET.

About 20 members of the Lower Valley Cricket Club mustered at Mr Hodder's paddock on Saturday afternoon for a scratch match, sides being chosen by. Messrs Luxford and Donald. The wind was a little too strong to be pleasant, and at times interfered a good deal with the Bowlers. The batting was weak, Feast, Nicols, Donald, and Booth being the only batsmen who made any scores at all. Tocker, Nicols, and Lucena bowled fairly and with practice the Club will probably turn out some good cricketers, The following are the scores : Donald's Side. Donald, b Lucena 14 J.
