Kuripuni, Sept. 13,1879. Sie ,—I beg to return my sincere and heartfelt thanks to Mr T. H. Hill and all those gentlemen who so kindly assisted ma by subscribing forme the £5 and costs which I was fined on Monday last by two J.P.s,, and also for defraying my expenses from Wellington. Once more thanking them for the kind assistance they rendered me in the time of need.—l remain, &c, J. Stanpokd,
There is one letter which is literally a Roman Emperor, andthat is the letter P. For that P is near 0 none can deny, and that Nero was a Roman Emperor is undoubted.
